El sábado pasado fue el cumple de una de mis amigas scraperas, Elsa, del blog
Nikosinas. Tenía ganas de hacerle algo especial y me acordé de
ESTE chulísimo diorama, que hizo mi compañera de
Locas por el Scrap, Hannah, hace poco.
Last Saturday it was the Birthday of one of my crafty friends, Elsa from the blog Nikosinas. I wanted to make her something special and I remembered THIS wonderful diorama, that my colleague from LPES, Hannah, made not long ago.
Llevaba tiempo queriendo probar esta modalidad, así que pensé que sería la ocasión perfecta. Pero además de diorama, quería que fuese una tarjeta... o sea un 2-en-1. Encontré

I had been wanting to make one of these for a long time and thought this would be the perfect opportunity. But besides being a diorama, I also wanted it to be a card... I found THIS tutorial of a pop-up diorama by Little Green Box and here's the result:
Lo más difícil fue sin duda montar la estructura ya que las capas en un diorama de caja suelen estar fijas, pero en este caso el diorama se aplastaba para poder entrar en un sobre...
The most difficult part was to make the structure because usually the layers of a box diorama are fixed, but in this case they had to flatten to be able to fit inside an envelope...
Parece increíble, pero funciona de maravilla... eso sí, hay que ser muy cuidadosa con las medidas, para que todo encaje perfectamente. Vamos a ver la escena con más detalle...
It seems incredible, but it works perfectly, although you have to be very careful with the measurements. Let's have a closer look at the scene that I created...
Usé sellos del set "Some bunny" de MFT stamps que estampé con Memento marrón clarito y coloree con rotuladores Copic. El globo lo corté con un troquel de Paper Smooches en papel de topitos y vellum, para que tuviera un acabado con algo de brillo... prefiero el Glossy Accents para zonas más pequeñas, como el centro de las flores.
I used stamps from the set "Some bunny" by MFT stamps which I stamped with a brown Memento ink and coloured with Copic markers. I die cut the balloon with a Paper Smooches' die in patterned paper and vellum because I wanted it to have some shine... I prefer to use Glossy Accents in smaller areas, like the centres of the flowers.
También usé troqueles de La Pareja Creativa (para los marcos), Lawn Fawn (la hierba y las colinas), Die-namics (las nubes) y Memory box (el abedul).
I also used dies by La Pareja Creativa (for the frames), Lawn Fawn (grass and hills), Die-namics (clouds) and Memory Box (birch tree).
En esta foto se pueden apreciar mejor las capas de la escena... Se me olvidó mencionar que usé un sello de Heidi Swapp para estampar la veta de la madera en el marco de papel kraft.
In this picture you have a better view of the layers of the scene... I forgot to mention that I used a background stamp by Heidi Swapp on kraft paper to achieve the wood texture of the frame.
Aprovecho para participar en el
reto de abril de Waffle Flowers, ya que me inspiré en su paleta de color, aunque cambié el tono beige de la puerta, que no me gustaba mucho, por el marrón tan bonito del mango del paraguas.
Since I was inspired by the colour palette of the April challenge at Waffle Flower, I'm participating, although I changed the beige of the door, that I wasn't so fond of, for the beautiful brown of the umbrella handle. I hope that you don't mind, girls.
Elsa quedó muy contenta con su tarjeta-diorama y sus regalitos aunque le llegaron con unos días de retraso...pero eso ya fue cosa de su cartero, je je. ¡Buen fin de semana y hasta la próxima!
