Tarjeta CAS para LPC - A CAS card for LPC

El sábado pasado Jose y yo hicimos once años de casados y le preparé una tarjeta muy amorosa, inspirada por el reto de julio de La Pareja Creativa en la que nos pedían una tarjeta CAS (clean and simple = limpia y sencilla)
Last Saturday Jose and I celebrated our eleventh wedding anniversary and I made him a very loving card inspired by the CAS (clean and simple) July challenge at La Pareja Creativa.

Me apetecía usar los sentimientos del set de sellos "Especial" de LPC de una manera diferente y decidí crear una sencilla tarjeta shaker. Estampé las palabras "especial", "inolvidable", "perfecto" y "mágico", aludiendo al día de nuestra boda, con tinta Stazon azul verdosa sobre plástico retráctil semitransparente "frosted", las recorté a mano y las encogí con la pistola de calor. Quedaron muy monas en versión mini ^_^
I wanted to use the sentiments from the stamp set "Especial" by LPC in a different way and decided to create a simple shaker card. I stamped the words "especial" (special), "inolvidable" (unforgettable), "perfecto" (perfect) and "mágico" (magical) -alluding to our wedding day- on frosted shrink plastic with teal Stazon ink, fussy-cut them and shrank them with my heat gun. I love how they turned out ^_^

La palabra "momento" fue troquelada de un trozo de cartulina entintada con el mismo tono de tinta "teal" de Stazon y cortada con un troquel del set "Siempre", también de LPC.
The word "momento" (moment) was die cut out of a piece of inked cardstock (I used the same ink as for the sentiments) using one of the dies from the set "Siempre" (always) also by LPC.

Cubrí la palabra con tinta Versamark y polvos de embossing transparentes que al derretirse le dieron volumen y mucho brillo... me gusta mucho como quedó!
I covered it with Versamark ink and clear embossing powder that, once melted, gave it a lot of volume and shine... It looks great, doesn't it?

Llené el corazón con las palabras y con unas estrellitas de madera de Studio Calico y me encanta el tintineo que producen al sacudir la tarjeta...
I filled the heart with the words and small wooden hearts by Studio Calico and the sound that they make when the card is shaked is fantastic...

La estrella irregular también es un troquel de LPC que venía como regalito en mi último pedido. La corté dos veces del mismo trozo de cartulina entintada con Stazon e hice la versión más pequeña girando y troquelando una de las estrellas grandes hasta que quedara bien.
The irregular star is also a die by LPC that I received as a gift with my last order. I die cut it twice out of the same piece of inked cardstock and made a smaller version by turning it around an die cutting it until I was satisfied.

Tarjeta shaker en forma de estrella - A star-shaped shaker card

Llevaba ya unos días dándole vueltas a una tarjeta de apertura original para participar en el reto de febrero de la Pareja creativa, cuando recordé la tarjeta shaker que había hecho hace un tiempo por el nacimiento del segundo hijo de unos amigos...
I had been thinking about a card with a special folding or opening to participate in the February challenge of La pareja creativa for a few days now, when I remembered a shaker card that I made a while ago when our friends had their second baby...

Era perfecta, tanto para este como para el reto "Shake that thing - SPD13" de Sugar Pea Designs que este mes nos piden que hagamos una shaker (el plazo se acaba el 24 de marzo así que animaros a participar!).
It was perfect for this as well as for Sugar Pea Designs' "Shake that thing - SPD13" February challenge that consists of making a shaker card (you have until March 24, so please feel free to participate!)

Usé dos de las estrellas del set de troqueles "Puffy star" de Lawn Fawn para crear el marco de goma eva y la estrella más grande para el fondo de lunares (un papel estampado grueso de la colección "Baby Mine Boy" de Carta Bella) y la tarjeta azul de atrás (dos capas de cartulina azul y una de cartón fino).

I used two of the stars from Lawn Fawn's "Puffy star" set to make the frame of the card out of fun foam and the largest star die for the dotted backing of the card (a thick patterned cardstock from the "Baby Mine Boy" collection by Carta Bella) and for the blue star (two layers of thin cardstock and one layer of thin chipboard).

El sistema de apertura es muy sencillo... atravesé todas las capas de la tarjeta con un punzón para colocar un encuadernador (brad) que hace la función de eje. Estampé el texto "felicidades" con embossing plateado y dejé un poco de espacio para el mensaje personalizado.

The opening system is really simple. I poked a hole through all of the layers of the card and inserted a small brad that works as an axis. "Inside" the card, I stamped and silver embossed the sentiment "felicidades" (congratulations) and left a bit of space for a personalized message.

Llené la tarjeta con patitos y biberones que hice de plástico retráctil, lentejuelas plateadas y amarillas, mini cuentas azul clarito y mini estrellas plateadas. Al sacudirla suena como un sonajero!

I filled the card with ducks and feeding bottles that I made out of shrink plastic, silver and yellow sequins, small light blue beeds and mini silver stars. When you shake it it sounds like a rattle!
