Tarjeta CAS de Pascua - A CAS Easter card

Ya estoy de vuelta con otra tarjeta primaveral que he hecho combinando los requisitos de tres retos. Vamos a verla primero y después os cuento los detalles...

I'm back with another spring card that I made combining the requirements of three different challenges. Let's have a look at it and I'll tell you all about it...

Como podéis ver se trata de una tarjeta del estilo Clean and Simple (limpio y sencillo) con mucho espacio en blanco... me encantan este estilo de tarjetas con muy pocos elementos decorativos, en las que prima el diseño. También es una tarjeta de Pascua por lo que cumple los requisitos del reto de AAA Cards:

As you can see, it's a CAS card with plenty of white space... I love these type of cards with very few embellishments in which design is the most important aspect. It is also an Easter card, so it fits perfectly in the challenge at AAA Cards:

He seguido el siguiente sketch ofrecido por Seven Hills Crafts para su reto de marzo a rajatabla:

I was totally inspired by the sketch offered by Seven Hills Crafts for their March challenge:

...y por último he utilizado acuarelas tanto para la hierba como para los huevos de Pascua, cortados con un troquel de Waffle Flower, por lo que también vuelvo a participar en su reto mensual por segunda vez:

...lastly I used watercolours, both for the grass as for the Easter eggs, cut using one of Waffle Flower's dies, so I participate in their monthly challenge for a second time.

He utilizado papel de acuarela tanto para los marcos (cortados con troqueles de La Pareja Creativa) como para los adornos y el sentimiento, cortados con troqueles de Waffle Flower (los huevos, el lazo y el sentimiento) y Lawn Fawn (la hierba).

I used watercolour paper both for the frames (cut with LPC dies) as for the embellishments and sentiment, cut with Waffle Flower (the eggs, bow and sentiment) and Lawn Fawn (the grass) dies.

He teñido los huevos y la hierba con la técnica del "ink smooshing" (estampación con un trozo de acetato, tintas Distress y agua) que aprendí viendo vídeos de Kristina Werner.

I coloured the eggs and grass using the "ink smooshing" technique, which I learned watching videos by Kristina Werner.

El sentimiento, no es quizás el más adecuado para esta tarjeta, pero como acompañará el huevo de Pascua de la hija de unos amigos, tampoco desentona.

The sentiment might not be the best one for this card, but since it will accompany the Easter egg which we will give to the daughter of our friends, I think it's OK.

Una tarjeta muy CAS - A very Clean and Simple card

Hay tantos retos interesantes en los que quiero participar así que os vais a hartar de mí esta semana ^_^ Hoy os muestro una tarjeta otoñal muy limpia y sencilla que me gusta bastante:

There are so many interesting challenges that I want to participate in this week, that you are going to get tired of me ^_^ Today I'm showing you a very clean and simple autumn card that I quite like:

He combinado el reto de AAA Cards en el que nos piden una tarjeta CAS con colores otoñales y un toque de tela...

I combined the challenge at AAA Cards in which they ask us to make a CAS with autumn colours and a touch of fabric...

...y el reto de Addicted to CAS cuya palabra clave esta semana es "hojas":

...and the challenge at Addicted to CAS whose code word this week is: "leaves".

Como veis son dos retos muy combinables. Me encanta la paleta de colores del otoño y me lo pasé en grande coloreando las hojas troqueladas con tintas Distress en los tonos Peeled paint, Barn Door, Mustard Seed, Abandoned Coral y Gathered Twigs.

As you can see they are easily combined. I love the color palette of autumn and I had a great time colouring the die cut leaves with Distress Inks in the tones Peeled Paint, Barn Door, Mustard Seed, Abandoned Coral and Gathered Twigs.

Pegué dos de las hojas con almohadillas adhesivas para darles volumen y el resultado es bastante realista.

I adhered two of the leaves with foam adhesive to pop them up a bit and the result is quite realistic.

Usé tela de verdad para las letras pero para que no se estropeara al troquelarla, primero la pegué a una tira de cinta de doble cara Sookwang y la cubrí con una capa de Mod Podge transparente... Aquí podéis ver la bonita textura que tienen:

I used real fabric for the letters, but I glued a strip on some Sookwang tape and covered it with a layer of clear Mod Podge in order to protect it before die-cutting it. Here you can see the nice texture:

Tarjeta CAS con mucho embossing - A CAS card with a lot of embossing

Después de mi última tarjeta me quedé con ganas de trabajar más con el clean and simple y como había un par de retos interesantes en la blogosfera, aproveché para crear un par de tarjetas que os iré enseñando estos días... Aquí tenéis la primera:

After my last card, I felt like working some more with the clean and simple style and since there were a couple of interesting challenges in the blogosphere, I seized the opportunity to make some cards that I will be showing you these days... Here's the first one:

Basé el diseño de la tarjeta en este boceto del reto 139 de CAS(E) this sketch:

I based the design of the card on this sketch from the CAS(E) this sketch challenge #139:

y lo combiné con el reto 47 de AAA cards cuya temática esta vez es el "embossing espectacular". Si os apetece todavía tenéis un par de días para participar.

and combined it with AAA cards' Challenge #47 whose theme this time is "spectacular embossing". If you feel like it, you still have a couple of days left to participate before it ends.

Utilicé una plantilla de gotas de Prima Flowers, tinta Versamark y polvos de embossing blancos para crear un fondo discreto pero divertido. Es difícil captarlo bien en la foto, sobre todo con la luz de una lámpara, pero tiene una textura y un brillo muy chulo.

I used a raindrop stencil by Prima Flowers, Versamark ink and white embossing powder to create a discreet but fun background. It's difficult to capture it in a photograph taken by the light of a lamp, but the texture and shine is really nice.

También embosé el sentimiento: "You saved the day" (Tú salvaste el día) en blanco y lo completé con la palabra "friend" (amigo/a) cortada con el abecedario de Die-namics "Little LC letters". 

I also embossed the sentiment: "You saved the day" in white and completed it with the word "friend", die cut using the "Little LC Letters" die set from Die-namics.

Estuve dudando si añadirle brillo a las letras con Glossy Accents o un poco de Wink of Stella transparente, pero decidí dejarlo así para no restarle más protagonismo al fondo.

I had my doubts about adding a touch of shine to the letters, either with Glossy Accents or clear Wink of Stella, but decided to leave it as is so as not to deduct from the background.
