Renos interactivos graciosos - Funny interactive reindeer

Hoy me paso por aquí muy rapidito para enseñaros un par de tarjetas interactivas que hice con el gracioso set de troqueles "Reindeer" de Paper Smooches...

Today I wanted to stop by really quickly to show you a couple of interactive cards that I made using the "Reindeer" die set by Paper Smooches...

Podemos adivinar que cuando se tira del corazón, aparecerá un mensaje en el bocadillo, pero la tarjeta tiene un elemento sorpresa...

We can totally guess that a message will appear in the speech bubble when the heart tab is pulled, but the card has a surprise element...

Ja ja ja... ¿qué os ha parecido? Este reno hablador tiene la lengua muy larga ;) Vamos a verlo de cerca.

Ha ha ha, what did you think? This reindeer sure has a sharp (and long) tongue ;) Let's have a closer look.

He aprovechado un sencillo mecanismo slider para mostrar un mensaje oculto, pero también para introducir un elemento gracioso.

I used a very simple slider mechanism to show a hidden sentiment (Merry Christmas), but also to introduce a funny element.

La lengua está cortada con uno de los troqueles del set "Tooth Fairy", también de Paper Smooches. Creo que se trata de una especie de banner, pero no lo tengo muy claro:

I cut the tongue using one of the dies from the Paper Smooches "Tooth Fairy" set. I think the shape is a sort of banner, but I'm not sure:

He sacado fotos del paso a paso y si os interesa, cuando tenga algo de tiempo, prepararé un tutorial... De momento os dejo un gif animado de la tarjeta y el enlace al reto de diciembre de Paper Smooches en el que participo.

El titular de este blog está en plural porque preparé una segunda tarjeta de renos muy sencilla, pero que también tiene su gracia...

I made a second, simpler card that is also quite funny...

Are you yeti for Christmas?

¡Jajaja, que divertidos son los juegos de palabras en inglés! Es una pena que el español no se preste tanto a las frases con doble sentido, como ésta de My Favorite Things, que he aprovechado para crear una tarjeta muy navideña, que presento al reto de diciembre de Scrapbook Pasión.

Ha ha ha, I really love puns! It's a pity that they are not easily applied to the Spanish language. I was inspired by the fun sentiment from the My Favorite Things "Beast friends" stamp set to create this Christmas card for the December challenge at Scrapbook Pasión. 

He usado tinta Memento negra y la técnica de enmascarar para estampar a esos adorables yetis formando una especie de árbol de navidad. Después los he coloreado suavemente con rotuladores Copic. 

I used black Memento ink and the masking technique to stamp these adorable yetis in the shape of a Christmas three. Then I lightly coloured them with Copic markers.

Para darle más interés visual al conjunto y para que cada uno de los personajes tuviese su propia personalidad, he variado el tono de su piel.

For added visual interest, and to give them different personalities, I varied the skin colour of the characters.

Apliqué unas gotitas de Glossy Accents para resaltar los ojos e hice un poco de paper piecing en la bufanda del yeti que sujeta la estrella.

I applied some Glossy Accents to make the eyes stand out and some paper piecing on the scarf of the highest yeti.

El elemento que más sobresale del fondo es el banner troquelado con uno de los troqueles del set Blueprints 28 de Die-namics. Usé un rectángulo de cartulina de purpurina plateada y una base de tarjeta en un azul verdoso muy clarito, para darle un toque más elegante a la tarjeta.

The element that stands out the most, Is the banner die cut with one of the dies from the Blueprints 28 set by Die-namics. I used a rectangle cut out of silver glitter cardstock and a light aqua coloured card base to add an elegant touch.

Tarjeta no navideña para dos retos - A non Christmas card for two challenges

En medio de tanta tarjeta navideña tenía ganas de hacer algo diferente y qué mejor ocasión que una combinación de los retos de Yoy Scrap y La Pareja creativa. Os muestro la tarjeta que he hecho y ahora os cuento los requisitos de los dos retos...

I wanted to take a break from all the Christmas-themed projects and combined the challenges of Yoy Scrap and La Pareja Creativa to make the following card. I'll explain the challenges in a moment...

En el reto de noviembre de Yoy Scrap, que se acaba hoy, nos pedían una tarjeta con la temática "transportes" y el uso de algún papel estampado con letras o números, mientras que para el reto de diciembre de La Pareja Creativa había que usar esta preciosa paleta de colores:

The November challenge at Yoy Scrap, which ends today, consisted in making a transportation-themed card using a patterned paper with text or numbers, while the December challenge at La Pareja Creativa called for the use of the following palette:

  

Me gusta bastante esta tarjeta, que a pesar de no ser muy masculina, tengo pensado regalarle a mi maridito para San Valentín o en otro día cualquiera. Vamos a verla con más detalle...

I really like this card and even though it's not very masculine, I'm thinking of giving it to my husband for Valentine's Day or on some other occasion. Let's look at the details...

He usado algunos de los troqueles del set "World traveler" de Die-namics para cortar los diferentes medios de transporte de cartulina gris y azul clarito... 

I've used some of the dies from a set called "World traveler" by Die-namics to cut the different transportation elements out of grey and light blue cardstock...

Los corazones de cartón prensado, coloreados con tintas de pigmento, son de Yoy Scrap y las maderitas de Studio Calico. También he añadido un poquito de Wink of Stella en el corazón central para darle algo de brillo.

The pigment ink-coloured chipboard hearts are from Yoy Scrap and the wood veneer shapes from Studio Calico. I also added some clear Wink of Stella to the pink heart to give it some shimmer.

La caja está cortada usando un troquel de Mama Elephant que compré durante las rebajas de Black Friday y el sentimiento está embosado en color aguamarina usando sellos de La Pareja Creativa y de Lola Bailora.

The box is cut using a Mama Elephant die that I bought during their Black Friday sale and the embossed sentiment is a mixture of stamps by La Pareja Creativa and Lora Bailora. 

El banderín con el hola también es un adorno de cartulina prensada de Yoy Scrap que he teñido con tinta y el otro banderín está cortado a mano.

The ink-coloured chipboard banner is also from Yoy Scrap and the other one is cut by hand.
